Affiliate Disclosure

Prepper HQ earns money through affiliate commissions. When you click a “Shop” link and buy something, the merchant pays us a percentage. You pay the same price either way.

The relationships

Prepper HQ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

We are building additional relationships with preparedness merchants. A merchant only ever appears as a link here once that program has actually approved us. We do not link through programs we have merely applied to.

Why this does not bend the plan

The Preparedness Plan Builder computes requirements from your household inputs before any product is considered. The commercial layer runs afterward and only picks which merchant to link for a line that already exists.

Affiliate relationships cannot add a line item, remove one, or change a quantity. If the tool says you need 45 gallons of water, that number came from your household size, climate, and duration, not from what pays best.

Several items in every plan carry no link at all, including the prescription buffer, the cash reserve, and the written family communications plan. Those are advice, not merchandise.

What we do not do

  • We do not accept payment for placement in the Plan Builder.
  • We do not publish commission rates as a selling point or rank anything by what it pays.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share reader data. There is no reader data to sell, because the planner stores nothing.

This disclosure is made under FTC 16 CFR Part 255. If anything here is unclear, the short version is: assume every product link on this site is an affiliate link.
